Tzutzu, nicknamed Figaro, another cat of mine

For a long time, I haven’t written about my cats. Today I thought of telling you the story of Tzutzu, nicknamed Figaro, another cat of mine. He is my eleventh kitten. His story closely resembles the stories of all my cats.

He came to us in September 2001. He was about three months old. I say, “he came to us”, we didn’t adopt him from somewhere. Proof that cats choose you and not the other way around.

Tzutzu, nicknamed Figaro, another cat of mine

became a gentle and loving kitten. May be because it received with family love and by the cats we already had.

When she came to our house, I had a cat that had little chicks, Little Jessie. Figaro was a little older but didn’t hesitate to suck along with the other cat chicks: Julie, Husky and Niki. I already told you their story.

I had a girlfriend, who happened to called Carmen. A great cat lover. To this day he has a lot of cats. She greatly loved Tzutzu and nicknamed Figaro. Since then, his name has remained.

The cat, in general, is a mysterious and unpredictable animal. Her innate behavior cannot, by and large, changed. It is up to us to influence their attitude and reactions well.

We already had a pretty rich experience growing cats (did you remember? Figaro is my eleventh kitten). So I made no mistakes in his education. I also cultivated the smallest tolerance for the rest of the cats in the house.

At the block

I lived in the block and didn’t leave it outside. Overall he was a good guy. Except for the climbing of the curtains lol.

His life spent sleeping, playing with my other kittens, eating and washing, for two years. He had a principle:” if I was a man with him, he was a tomcat with me ” lol.

He loves reading. I mean, he was crazy when someone in the family read. He nestled in the chest of the “reader” and drew an “intellectual” sleep.

In the autumn of 2002, Figaro neutered. It is minimal suffering but in the long term, it helps to be healthy and not to take part in the battles specific to the riots. From these battles, they can leave wounded.

Moving to the house

In November 2003 we moved to a house with a yard and garden. I wanted this especially for our cats, which have multiplied over the years. The space we had at the block had become insufficient for our cats. For a psyche to live comfortably, at least 5 square meters recommended.

The move itself I described in other articles in which I write the story of a cat of mine. I think it is no longer necessary to recount. If you want, you can read the stories about my cats in the category “personal stories with my cats“.

We settled in the new house. We had to get her close to cats from the beginning. For them, it is a great stress to change the house. We knew this and we did so that the stress of the cats was minimal. I surrounded them with love and patience. Thus, they understood that they would be as good as before they moved.

Also, they had more play space.

We moved in November. Over the winter the cats remained only in the house.

Living at home

As it warmed up, I left the cats outside, in the yard and the garden. At first, they were shy, including Figaro.

I don’t know if you know the behavior of a cat in an unknown environment. She moves in small circles, trying to get to know the environment. Then it moves in ever-larger circles. It should not rush or sudden.

Thus, Figaro began to know the surroundings slowly, slowly. I was very happy to see that he could go out in the yard and into the garden.

It was a beautiful spring. Figaro chose after butterflies, smelled the flowers. Sometimes the sun is dull. Play with the other cats. Everything went smoothly. He was a good and loving kitten.

But nature has spoken its word. Figaro escaped from the yard. My last memory is with Figaro sleeping in our bed,

on the morning of November 7, 2004. On that bad day, one of my kittens returned home beaten, although he was very peaceful. It happened at 6 in the morning. Fortunately, he escaped. Another kitten of mine, Tzuky, got back under my car, very hurt. Figaro disappeared completely and since then I have not seen him.

I called the veterinarian immediately. Unfortunately, Tzuky, shortly after the arrival of the veterinarian, died in my arms. On that day, I suspect one of our neighbors from then on tried to harm them.

After what happened, we secured the yard, so that my cats could not escape. But for Figaro and Tzuky, it was too late.

Figaro stayed with us a bit and had the same fate as Husky.

He left me beautiful memories, but unfortunately, he disappeared prematurely.

We wrote this article in the memory of Figaro, a sensitive and loving fur baby who lived in our house and only gave us joy.

You are a cat lover. You have one or more. If you stay in the yard, as far as possible, ensure the yard so that the cat (your cats) cannot escape. She is a curious animal of wires and a hunter at the same time. It will try to “conquer” the new territories. But do not forget that dangers hang it at every turn. Dogs, cars, bad neighbors. It is advisable to protect against these dangers.

If you stay in the block, you must take great care that your cat does not leave the house. Only with you and leash.

I would be happy to leave a comment, to share your experience with cats. Or tell me your opinion about the article. Thank you.

I’m a big cat loving, since the young baby.   My mother was great loving cats, grandmother as well.   My daughter is coming to the end. My daughter loves cats so much that she makes a second faculty: veterinary medicine.   Four generations, what do you think?

You can now learn to communicate directly with your cat.

  1. So nice to read about the life of Figaro and so sad the way he disappeared at the end. He was beautiful and you can see he was well-loved. I love the way you say that a cat chooses his owners rather than the other way around.

I love cats too, but unfortunately, I love birds more and besides that fact, I am extremely allergic to cats, so I don’t own one, but whenever I visit people with cats, they head straight for my lap like they know they are going to make me sneeze.

    1. Thanks for posting. If you are allergic to cats, you are into their saliva or dandruff. Dandruff appears on the hair. If you like cats, there is the Sphynx breed which is very good for people allergic to cats. The Sphynx cat is sociable, unassuming, loving and attentive.

  2. So sad to hear that the cat disappeared prematurely. There was this one cat that would come to my house occasionally. I have no idea if it was a stray or one of my neighbor’s. It had no name tags, but it was well-groomed. The cat would always come just for me. It was scared of my parents and my brother, but for some reason, it always wanted to be close to me. And I felt a connection with the cat. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen the cat for quite a while as it also disappeared on me.

    1. Thank you for your comment, . If that neighbor cat was shooting at you, it means you’re a good man. Cats are very intelligent animals and they feel human. Why not adopt a cat, be your own? You reward her with her love. Cats are easier to care for than dogs.

  3. Many thanks to you for sharing such an excellent article with us .I have a cat and this is a very good friend of mine .And I brought her from a shelter. After that it has become a gentle and loving kitten .Cats are a mysterious and incredible creature to me .I think their attitude develops as I would .Personally I very much like the Tzutzu breed cat and I have always been well cared for and treated well. And I’m writing a blog about this kitten and I hope that by spreading it all I can make a lot of money as well as introduce myself to my dear friend. I find it fascinating to see these cats shot .

Finally we hope that through your article everyone will know about this cat and they will certainly share their new experience with you as they make new friends.

    1. Thanks for the comment and for appreciating my article .. I’m glad to find out you have a cat. I’m sure she’s your best friend. Take care of her.

  4. Hello, Yes, you are right cats choose who they live with. I didn’t have a cat now, but. I had three Lizzy, Lucy and Thomas. Lizzy was the mother of the other two. All had very different personalities Lucy was very quite and kept herself to herself, never really getting involved in anything and seemed to like her own company. Lizzy was definitely the boss and was in control of just about everything, even me sometimes. As for Thomas he had a great personality and was always up to no good, but great fun to be around. I lost them all the space of about a year. Lizzy just disappeared one day without trace. I can only guess that she was hit by a car or something. Lucy developed a lung infection and I had to make the difficult decision to have put to sleep. Thomas has a similar fate, he lost the use of his legs and his nervous system seemed to shut down. The vet suspected that he had been poisoned, we never found out what caused this. So you are right we should all cherish these fantastic, infuriating at times, cute animals.

    1. Thanks for the comment Robert. I’m sorry to hear about losing your cats. I want to tell you that I also had two cats named Thomas and Lizzie. But we lost a few years ago: Thomas at 13 and Lizzie at 9 and a half. Although I have many cats, they are always in the memory of my family.

  9. You sent a very interesting article about cats. Also, cats disappear in a few days and return injuries or slimy and hungry. Our cats are being let out of the car in front of the house when they pass the roads, so we feed them and so do the pets. Thanks for the post.

  11. What a sad story, thank you for writing this in memory of Figaro. At least he go to experience love and a family, even though it was cut too short. I am always worried about our cats escaping outside. We live by a fairly busy road in our neighborhood. Luckily, we have the entire yard fenced in. It probably would not stop them from completely escaping but would hopefully slow them down enough so we can grab them. Hopefully it would never come to that though because we try to be as careful as possible for them not to get out. Thanks again for sharing.

    1. Thank you for your comment. I’m glad to find out you have more cats. But be careful, they are unpredictable, curious and hunting. Don’t run over the fence. Take care.

  12. So happy to have read your story about Tzutzu and how the cat has become apart of your family. Not everyone will have cats and take such good care of them as their own children. My daughter loves her cats so much, she takes their photos to tattoo parlor and has them put on her arms. Please keep updating us on Tzutzu future journey with your family.

    1. Thanks for the comment. It seems your daughter is a real cat lover. That’s what I like very much. Take care of yourself, your daughter and.. the cats.

  13. hello, it is a great and nice feeling to know that someone will create a great website like this and also create a write up on an article like this. for the first three weeks after getting my cat, she was so shy that she was hiding all day long. tzutzu your cat is really beautiful and seems calm. i love the short story

    1. Thank you for your comment. Cats need some time to adjust to a new home. You must have patience and understanding. When she is sure that there is no danger, that she is wanted, she will change her behavior.
